My S90 is not very excellent , to much noise and the photos are to blurry and the af is to slow . But i reckon something is incorrect whit mine since a S90 should give much sharper metaphors . If you could turn the sharpness up in the camera it would be very excellent .

@skjoyner Still cameras you always seem to hear the zoom in, you are better off purchasing a video camera for the purpose of recording a video. But looking at the specification I would probably say the Sony TX7 is better that this for video. :P

Can someone tell me why HD video would be better than this cameras video if the video I see from this camera looks better than the HD videos I’ve seen from other pocket cams on youtube? What’s the advantage of HD? Will HD look better on TV when burned to DVD? Wretched, I don’t know much about cameras & I’m trying to choose between the Canon S90 & Sony TX7. I appreciate anyone’s help.

Ok, I own this camera and it is deserving of a 5/5 rating, otherwise I will give you the wrath of smelling my fragrance, hehehehe.

This review tends to annoy the crap out of me. Yada yada…. smacking his lips and shit.

The final rating is 20/30. You have to watch the whole review to see that. The 3/5 rating is for build quality and you have to read to know that. This is still one persons opinion but I found it more helpful than the bogus reviews left by everyone about the video. Take it for what it is, I know more about this camera now than I did before watching the video.

wow, this review site just lost all credibility..

Rating seems to be off…this is the best point and shoot camera, so it should be 5/5 or 4.5/5 relatively

  13. miamicanesfan01 on March 31, 2011 at 9:45 pm

3 out of 5 are you kidding me. Its only the best point and shoot in the world!

  14. HelloNewYorkCity on March 31, 2011 at 9:45 pm

this camera is comparable to my 30D, i take it when i’m too bone idle to bring my bag

  15. Deanhess1129 on March 31, 2011 at 10:29 pm

Why not a better rating? You seem to be way off! Own one and like it.

  16. spdntrxi on March 31, 2011 at 10:59 pm

nikon shill = 3/5 rating.. the front ring is innovative, shooting modes are fantastic too… certainly deserving of 4-4.25 rating at min.

  17. freezazoid on March 31, 2011 at 11:55 pm

terrible review… you gave it a 3/5 for everything! For a compact this camera is a 5 out of 5 or maybe 4.5 out of 5! It looks fantastic and the build quality is fantastic too, so I don’t really get how it only got 3/5 in those areas.

    Really terrible review.

when it comes down in price, im gonna buy this camera. At first I wanted the G11, the image quality is the same so I wont bother with the heavier body.
