@boalohanuiloa1 Yes, a friend who is photograph told me that canon hace better lenses, but I’m not going to take professional photos lol, I’m looking also the Panasonic dmc-zr3, which have 14,1 mpx, the videos looks very excellent too =P

@Rinoa1603 I was all set to buy the sony until I saw the comparison side by side. You’ll get a much brighter image from the pana and canon cuz they use different lenses. But that’s why they give the streaking problem. Guess you have to pick your losses. Canon is sweet equal to the pana apart from for the audio normalizing at high levels.

@boalohanuiloa1 I have seen some videos of the sony and I just despise it haha, and the videos looks darker too. I was trying to choose a excellent camera, so I saw the canon and the panasonic, but certainly the audio sounds better in the panasonic, and I need the camera not only for concerts, also for the photos. I have a kodak v1233 (I reckon)… The photos are kinda excellent, the video too, but the video is too dark for me and also the audio sucks when I record something with a loud volume

@Rinoa1603 your salutation. You may find some blue/white streaks when shooting in low light or sunny settings. But mostly all cameras have this problem apart from the sony. But sony has terrible audio and their picture is a lot darker. You can find comparisons on youtube. But I don’t reckon you’ll be disappointed with the lumix zs7.

@boalohanuiloa1 Then I will Bought the Zs7 =D thx for the information =)!

@Rinoa1603 yes.. pictures come out sweet sharp. no complaints =)

  8. Rinoa1603 on May 1, 2011 at 5:45 pm

@boalohanuiloa1 I see. Btw what about the pictures? nice quality?

  9. boalohanuiloa1 on May 1, 2011 at 5:48 pm

@Rinoa1603 yeah.. like I said… the volume is low but you can always turn the volume up when editing your videos or on your tv. It will be useless if the volume is loud but distorted. I reckon it’s the best you’ll find without going to the next level of a HD camcorder. It doesn’t have a setting where you can turn it off and on. I believe when it gets to a certain high decible level it kicks in to normalize it =)

@boalohanuiloa1 I was looking the videos that U uploaded, sounds kinda low but excellent, the panasonic Zs7 got a special feature for the sound right?.

  11. boalohanuiloa1 on May 1, 2011 at 6:16 pm

@Rinoa1603 I will also add that I did not bump up the audio in those videos because it served me okay for only youtube broadcasting purposes. Also, I reckon this is the best out there so far for only a “point n shoot” camera. You cannot bring in camcorders into arenas so this is the next best thing. I’m pleased with my choice.

@Rinoa1603 I compared the sony hx5v, canon sx210, & lumix zs7 (tz10) and got the zs7. I’m pleased very with it. yes.. the audio will come out small low. But most importantly it won’t come out distorted as compared to the sony and canon. To me if audio is distorted it doesn’t matter how excellent the video is if it sounds like crap. You can always bump up the audio in editing or turn it up if watching on tv. Check out my smtown live in LA videos. Audio is decent with fantastic HD video.

@boalohanuiloa1 So the Panasonic is the best in audio recording? because I have seen videos too of that camera and It sounds very low the audio, I’m looking for a excellent digital camera to record a concert .

  14. boalohanuiloa1 on May 1, 2011 at 7:47 pm

@enaton yeah.. I’m looking to buy one to record loud concerts and I’ve seen on here the tz10 does a sweet excellent job with it’s normalizing feature. They both have a blue streaking problem. But I rather have excellent audio.

  15. enaton on May 1, 2011 at 8:17 pm

The sound is crappy and distorted as in most cameras or camcorders.
    Check Panasonic TZ7 & TZ10 in concerts. A huge difference !!

Thank you for specifying that this was shot with an sx210. I’ve been looking for videos that show this camera being used at concerts. Thank you, this is fantastic!
