Product Description
This is a 1300mAh high capacity replacement battery. The higher the mAh rating, the more power a battery can store and the longer it will last per charge. It contains premium Japanese grade A battery cells and is guaranteed to outperform the Canon original battery. This battery is CE certified and built to meet or exceed the OEM specification. It is guaranteed to safely power all cameras that use the NB-4L battery. The lithium ion chemistry of this battery makes it 100% reminiscence free. Unlike Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cad) batteries, lithium ion batteries don’t have a “reminiscence effect” which shortens their capacity. They can be partially charged and/or discharged without worry of shortened battery life. Are you concerned about protecting the environment? Do you worry about exposing your family to electronics containing hazardous heavy metals (such as lead or mercury)? You can rest simple meaningful this battery is manufactured in accordance with the strict RoHS standards, which call for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Unlike most aftermarket power supplies, our batteries have undergone rigorous cell cycle testing before leaving our factory. If a battery does not pass our benchmark testing for superior performance, it will be eliminated from the production line. This guarantees the best possible quality in all our batteries and virtually eliminates the chance of a product being shipped dead on arrival. This battery includes a 3-year warranty. Because we use premium Japanese cells and the highest quality components, we are confident that the battery will last the duration of the warranty and beyond. But, in the rare case where you experience a problem with the battery within the warranty period, it will be replaced promptly. The two Kinamax batteries were bought to supplement the original Canon battery on a trip to Turkey. They were a fraction of the cost of the Canon battery. Their performance was every bit as excellent as the original equipment battery, maybe better. I am very satisfied and I’m sure you will be also.

I bought these batteries after doing some research on Amazon, chosing them because they are advertised as Japanese cells. After receiving them, I was disappointed to turn them over and find the words, ‘MADE IN CHINA’. As to performance, they are listed as 1300mAh, but do not last nearly as long as the original Canon or Lenmark, which are listed as 760mAh.

    Canon SD1000 PowerShot Camera uses a NB-4L battery pack, 3.7V, 760mAh.

The original battery pack would originally take several hundred pictures (w/o sparkle) before a recharge was necessary.

A second battery pack was bought. It is made by DigiPower has 3.6V 790mAh and performance was equivalent to the Canon… Let’s say, I did not recognize if there was a difference.

Both these battery packs have been used over the last few years and have taken over 7300 pictures. It was getting to a point where the battery life was shorter than I ideal. I plotted to replace these two with this new battery pack 3.7V 1300mAh. Technically, this should have been excellent for several hundred pictures more than the original Canon battery pack but that has not been my initial experience.

I fully charged the Kinamax battery pack before use with the original Canon charger. But after a couple hundred pictures, the low battery warning came on. The power lasted no more than either of my ancient battery packs.

My first impression was not excellent. I will give this a couple more tries. I would suggest that future buyers not base their buying choice on the power of 1300mAh.

I was a small reluctant to buy this battery at first due to a couple negative reviews, but due to the price I went ahead and bought one.

It looks identical to the picture, is the same size as the original Canon battery, and is of excellent build quality.

I charged it up and have taken numerous pictures without issue. The battery is holding the charge, and dispite taking a bunch of pictures the battery indicator remains full. I have not had to recharge it yet!

So far I’ve had this battery for over a month now and am very pleased with it. I definetly would buy another, and would not hesitate recommending these to a friend.

I bought 4 batteries. 3 do not hold a charge at all and one will only run the battery for 15 minutes. I went and buy replacements and they all work fine with the same charger.

    DO NOT BUY THESE BATTERIS!!!!
