This camera is so terrible, I can’t believe it hasn’t been pulled from the shelves. I work with digital cameras and wouldn’t give this to my worst enemy. Buy the Canon SD780 or SD1200 IS instead. They in fact take fantastic pictures!

I thought this camera was decent based on other reviews, but after owning it for a while it is really sub-par. Save your money for something else. It just does not work accurately or as indicated. It takes ok video, but the pictures are not very excellent quality and it’s impossible to force changes to some picture settings, particularly night. I get better pictures from my 3 megapixel cell phone!!! Can’t believe I atrophied my money on this POS.

Was not very pleased to find that this camera didn’t have A reminiscence chip or transportation case as the one did, my son bought at Costco for the same money.

I am sorely disappointed with my new Coolpix. I have a very ancient one with which I was quite pleased, but I wanted to upgrade to a much smaller, higher MP camera. This camera seemed like a fantastic deal for a 10MP slim camera with VR. The problem is that white walls & Caucasian people look golden-haired or orange with this camera. I haven’t yet printed any photos or looked at any on the computer, but on the camera, most photos look dreadful. I will bring up to date y’all once I have printed a few of the photos & see if it is simply a terrible camera LCD, or if the photos are really that dreadful. If it is simply the camera LCD, well, I can live with that. If the photos are as dreadful as they look on the camera LCD, then I will be persistent the camera to Amazon ASAP.

I bought this camera over the summer thinking it was going to take some nice pictures while visting Italy. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the picture quality especially when taking pictures inside the museums and night shots. Inside the museum, the pictures came out grainy and I noticed the camera couldn’t take decent pictures at night. Night pictures looked blurry and out of focus. I orginally paid 149. 99 for this camera and then resold it taking a loss of 69 dollars. Avoid this camera at all costs. I’ll stick to Cannon or Sony for my next camera buy. I’ll reckon twice about purchasing a Nikon again.
