SUMMARY
The Nikon Coolpix S8000 camera does not fit in this, otherwise nice, case.
DETAILS
The camera case is sturdy, well-built, and the magnetic lock works fine. It is a nice case, with a nice set of 3 screen protectors with squidgy to help proper application of the protector.
Unfortunately, I bought it to hold the Nikon S8000, and while the camera can be inserted, you better bring some crisco and a shoehorn with you. The fit is so tight, that you have to force the side with the strap loop in first, and then stretch the opposite side to be able to slide the camera in. The case is pushing heavily on the lens protrusion as well.
I am now trying to find the new Nikon horizontal leather case (…), assuming that the manufacturer knows how to match their case to the camera size.
