The product promises much with a reasonable price but does not work at all. I was not able to recharge it at all with my standard Canon charger. Other batteries including one ancient aftermarket RadioShack still recharge. Now persistent the product and hope they refund it.

My ancient Powershot S-100 wasn’t working well. Turns out, the ancient battery was the problem. No need to waste $30+ on a new Canon battery. This one works just fine. The camera worked for days, taking 100+ pictures without needing a recharge.

I bought this Canon camera battery because it was advertised as a “premium Japanese cell”. But, the battery itself states clearly that it is made in China. A small misleading??? I haven’t had much luck with the quality of Chinese products and try to avoid them where possible. The battery seems to work OK so with a bit of luck it won’t die at an early age!
