Finally got a 720p camera for my vids (and pics). This video is being recorded with my older Canon PowerShot SD200 Digital Elph. I’m currently charging the battery so a review will have to wait in a future vid. When I tested it in Best Buy, the picture was fantastic. My only gripe at the camera without even turning it on was movie format is saved in .MOV = Quicktime to view…… Specs: 14.1 MP 4x Zoom 28mm Wide View Lens 2.7” LCD

@SweetSoccerMoves Wall charger only. Otherwise it should not have shut off when connected to the computer via USB WITH lcd turned off. Like I said, it wouldn’t turn back on only until I charged the battery again. So by process of elimination, it can only be charged with the wall charger.

@playmaker2007 So, the wall charger has to be used to charge it? I question because I go on long hikes. Three or Four days of taking pictures and goofing off with my video camera and regular camera. I have a Solar USB Charger that I use to charge my phone and most of the electronic I carry. I do not want to buy it and find out that I can not charge it without an AC outlet.

@SweetSoccerMoves Yeah separate wall charger. As far as I know, the USB cable does not charge the battery, it turned off on me plugged into my PC. The camera turned back on after charging the battery with the wall charger.

$250 at Best Buy… all paid for in gift cards, so it was basically free. Video quality when recording objects 6ft away look fantastic. When you try to record up close, it’s vital you keep the distance the same because the lens will have distress focusing in and out. Macro mode is one of this camera’s best features.
