I bought this low-priced accessory to go with my 500mm lens to eliminate the shake caused by pressing the shutter. It’s fantastic for wildlife or long range landscape shots. It’s cheap and works perfectly, I couldn’t live without it.

I bought this remote when I was looking for a Canon brand, but works just like you are in fact pushing the shutter, I reckon that is a excellent deal, because y a LOt less money and work fantastic!!!

The cord works as it should. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I would have wanted the shutter button to be on the larger end of the switch instead of the smaller end, near the cord. No worries otherwise.

this works wonderfully with the Cannon Rebel xs, though I have not played around much with the bulb setting. I recommend a longer cord like this one, and it has been quite handy shooting self portraits to use as drawing references, a shorter cord would have made things much more hard.

Product works flawlessly. Fantastic price on top of that, I can’t give any reasons not to buy? I am using this on my Canon EOS XSi with no lag time and 1/4 the price of the Canon product. Like it!
