This is a nice case for the price. Not really made for the canon powershot SD980IS… a taller camera would fit a small better. Looks like it would be perfect for the SD780. I would still recommend this case for anyone that is looking for a durable inexspensive case for their digital camera, and it should fit most compacts.

this case is too huge for the canon sd780is, the camera slides around in it. the case itself is well made and the magnet keeps the flap closed

Fantastic for people who don’t want to mess with sippers, snaps and buttons to yank out their cameras at the last second. Excellent protection. The only thing missing is a small insert to keep reminiscence cards and extra batteries, but that was my own flaw for not thinking of that first.

This is a excellent camera case for the sd780is camera…very excellent price to. it came really quick. its a bit huge for the sd780is cannon but does the job….

Simple to use – it has magnetic closure, and just the size I needed for the Canon SD870IS. Plus the price is right – I paid $395 plus postage. Similar cases sell for 4 times as much at Walmart!
