@cameralabs Hehe. Comparing this to your review on the 550D/t2i, I can certainly tell that you have dramatically improved in your reviewing skills. Keep up the excellent work!
Best Regards.
@xXxmidgexXx None taken! This was my very first video review on YT, so I was still finding my feet! Notice how it’s also just one long take!
Gordon seems somewhat frenzied in this video. xD no offense intended.
im plotting to get my very first dsl camera and i have no thought which one to get. Any suggestions?
I like my xti i bought it second hand and its fantastic !!!!
should i buy the xsi for full price xti for 650 from my companion? any input would be a huge help. thanks
nice reiview, watch my review in the video response
thanks but the only reason i had a chance to get a xti was because my dad got an t1i and he gave me a chance for his ancient one, i took the xti, im glad i did
@RiverJH95 never get bridge cameras, they are like slr’s but don’t offer the speed. what kind of camera offers near instant shutter lag? an slr. the xti is rather ancient, maybe you should get the t1i or the xsi.
Eh, I’m not a huge fan of live view. One of the largest points of a DSLR camera over a point-and-shoot in my opinion is the interest that the viewfinder gives you. Switching to the LCD screen seems extremely counter-productive for me, and IMO if you need live view you’re better off with a P&S.
you’re sweet cool
should i get this or a canon sx20 is
no.
Does this camera take video?
if you want to do low level/locked on a tripod macro shots i reckon “live view” will be a huge benefit to you. that is if you can find a model cheap enough with one on
that shake is the pop up sparkle rails (you’l know what i mean if you place the sparkle up)
its not a flaw, this happens on every one (i have a 400d with the slight rattle)
hello ther i want to buy this camera but does it have’s a acco and does it have a chip to set the photo’s on it and i this a excellent camera to buy it ?
( it’s gonna be my furst camera so what do you reckon ) i hope to her it from you
greats martijn
Hey, I get a small rattle inside the camera whenever I slightly shake it, but the camera still functions 100% so I do not know what is incorrect.
yeah, i’m a huge fan of your canon eos 50d and 40d, as well as the nikon d40 and d90 vid tour. not only a bit, gordon, but a lot of improvements! with a bit of luck someday, you’ll get the chance to creat a vid tour of some top end dslrs (canon eos 1d mark 4 or nikon d3)
Well this was my very first video review, so it is a bit rough! With a bit of luck the lastest ones are a bit of an improvement!
wow! comparing gordon’s much recent vid tours to this particular one, i’d say gordon has improved the way he presents vid tours nowadays. nice job!
in fact this is a mid range canon DSLR….have one…still an amateur…
I’m looking at this camera as my first SLR (I’ve had really nice Sony Cybershots up until now, and an ancient Sigma AS300 35mm). The one I’m looking at comes along with a Sigma 18-50mm lens as well. Pricing is around $400. Do you reckon this would be a excellent value? I can’t afford the newer cameras – but want to learn the right manual side of photography and want to take alot of nature shots, and macro shots. Appreciate any help. Thanks
this camera is fantastic to start off with
i started off with this and its fantastic for capturing moments and its battery life lasts longer so i dont need to pack my battery charger when i go on hikes
ty I just recived it with the 430 EX II and I just like it
