Go to the chdk website and learn. And why would you ever want to record for so long?

Can you tell me how to use CHDK to allow my Canon to record more than 29 minutes of continuous video?

can chdk add more video codecs to powershot cameras? For example simple camera S80
BrianThyme on June 10, 2010 at 8:48 pm
If you know of a excellent place for the video please let me know, i noticed the heavy compression.

well officially windows movie maker does not support .mov files, but it is possible to drag and drop the video into the preview window and odly this lets it edit and use .mov. Movie maker beta does not support this. Then you have to convert to ex .avi first. I use Cyberlink Powerdirector, works fantastic.

Hi, is there a way to download your original unaltered MOV files ?
AFAIK youtube recompresses video content so that “real” comparison is not possible
