This is my first video with the Canon Powershot D10 Underwater Camera. All settings are on automatic. I have ZERO camera knowledge and don’t know how to tweak any of the cameras settings. I bought this camera on eBay for around 310.00 to take on our cruise to the Cayman Islands in August 2009. We plot on doing snorkeling, swimming with dolphins and all other kinds of water activities so I thought it would be excellent to have a excellent waterproof camera to commemorate the trip. I have been playing with this camera and I have to tell you – I LOVE IT!! Go simple on me- this is my first video ever uploaded to YouTube.

@NuclearMind There is a few poblems about capturing thunderstorms, as passionate lights, such as the sun, might hurt it.
But it would problary go well :)
    Would be cool seeing.
It have 3X optic zoom, and 12X Digital.

The undewater sounds remind me of “Voyage to the bottom of the sea” … which was aired through the 70ies…. I am also seriously considering getting this camera. I reckon it would by fantastic for filming thunderstorms and lightnings (without have to carry an umbrella or an embarassing plastic casing that goes over the non waterproof camera) Excellent work!

How do the pictures taken INDOOR come out? Because the camera I have now takes fantastic pictures outdoors, but inside, ehh, not so excellent.

    Thanks ! :)

Well, Got back from my cruise and have about 6 hours of video footage to edit. I like this camera more than ever!! The still shots are perfect. The ones I took at the dolphin swim so far back, but I was able to crop closeups that still look perfect. Even the ones in low light turned out excellent. I dropped it a couple times in the Dunns river falls (once on a rock) and it still works fantastic. Like it! I would certainly select this camera again.
