Can’t choose this or the hx5v?? I need to shoot in low light.. say.. in an arena for a concert. I need a excellent zoon and excellent mic so audio doesn’t get blown. And I want quick shutter speed so I don’t have to wait in between shots.

@im4everyoung all cameras have tripod mounts. atleast since 2004. all products have mounts

looks excellent…. i am seriosly considering buying one of these and buying a water proof housing for it.
does it have a continous shotting mode and it it quick enough?
    tripod mountable?

ok i bought few days ago 16 gigs class 6 card i uploaded couple videos please tell me what you reckon it is on my other channel projectdalpha

@desmosedicimeccanica You need at least a class 6 reminiscence card, but if you can afford to go a bit higher this will always help.

Indeed you have changed some settings, or even the smallest possiblity the camera itself is broken or has a flaw. Try uploading a video to Youtube so people can see.

@Kirbyotronic i have PNY SDHC 120 MIN hd 8 gigs card it says 4 next to SDHS so i guess thats a class type? which class is the best???

  7. Kirbyotronic on August 8, 2010 at 5:00 pm

@desmosedicimeccanica What kind of reminiscence card do you have? You need at least a class 4 card to record HD video, right now I have a 16GB class 10 card.

maybe it got dark because when he zoomed, he zoomed to where there were shadows caused by the concrete arch?

    @mydiversions oh! lol. whoops XD

  12. mydiversions on August 8, 2010 at 8:28 pm

@anbmjj I wasn’t being serious – - that would be too much to question from the small camera. It has a nice zoom, and it focused well on the subject in the distance, but as hdtvcamera1 said, the exposure did not adjust to the darker conditions as the camera zoomed in. Maybe that is according to the design specs of this camera? I don’t own one.

  13. anbmjj on August 8, 2010 at 9:26 pm

@mydiversions Is that supposed to happen?_? I’ve never experienced that.

  14. Lunapro on August 8, 2010 at 9:43 pm

Excelente el Zoom en modo Video, me la comprare

  15. mydiversions on August 8, 2010 at 10:39 pm

yes, weird. also the mikes don’t “zoom” with the lens.

  16. hdtvcamera1 on August 8, 2010 at 10:40 pm

very weird that the iris didn’t open up as you zoomed in. Spring in NY, Sweet
