@bubblyjaz tnx it worked…. now im really pleased with my camera

  7. bubblyjaz on August 16, 2010 at 6:25 pm

@extremebiker2005 if you go to the video setting and then push menu, a screen should pop up and the first thing it says is digital zoom. if you switch it from off to standard, you should be able to zoom while filming.

@SamRodriguezTV They sell a $30 bag like water proof case on sites like amazom. Plus it’s large enough for all your point and shoots or pocket camcorders.

@08EvanG thanks. my sd780is is weak soon as i start filming it doesn’t let me zoom

  10. 08EvanG on August 16, 2010 at 8:10 pm

@extremebiker2005 my camera is able to zoom as follows: if i start the video with it being zoomed in below 4x zoom it will be able to zoom between 1x and 4x zoom…. if i start the video above 4x zoom(digital zoom) it will only be able to zoom between 4x and 12x zoom while the video is being taken…. the zoom is just allowed by default on mine, it records in hd, maybe your camera is slightly different?

  11. extremebiker2005 on August 16, 2010 at 8:51 pm

how were you able to zoom? my sd780is don’t allow for zooming while recording video
