Hi Marty. How about doing one of these for Garage Band. Perhaps an introductory of “How Marty uses Garage Band” for us beginners. Thanks.

Just clap your hands in the camera. Find the abrupt clap in protools, and sync it with the video of the clap. This is how movies sync sound and video too , only they use a slate.

Canon Vixia and Final Cut Pro here XD I like it, and it’s awe-inspiring. Another way to import, for longer videos with scenes, and such, is go over to “File”, then “Log and Transfer”.
I do have to question, what kind of file do you upload to YouTube? I’ve been trying to upload mine in .mov, .avi, .dv, etc. They just don’t work. Well, they do, but when I upload them to YouTube, (after 9 hours) it says “Failed: Cannot Convert Video Unknown File Type” :p I’m a YouTube newbie XD
