About 4 hours of time lapse taken with my Canon PowerShot A720 IS, in succession CHDK Autobuild v0.9.6-714, using my tweaked Ultra Intervalometer script v.102 (Author – Keoeeit, edited by Joshatdot) – chdk.setepontos.com 2291 pictures were taken (1600×1200, Normal Compression), from 2:37pm to 6:11pm, on Sony 2500 mAh Ni-MH batteries. Unsure why it stopped, either the card got full or batteries went dead. Video made in VirtualDub 1.8.6, resized & cropped (bottom cropped out, to show the sky/clouds more) to 1280×720, Xvid 1700 bitrate, Lame 192kbit CBR Stereo, music is Waxfactor “Ital” from album Sci Fu. Camera Settings: Shooting Mode: P ISO: Auto White Balance: Day Light Zoom: Full Wide LCD Show : Off (helps batteries run longer) AF-help Beam: Off Review: Off IS Mode: Off Script Settings: Interval 3 seconds (averages out to 5sec in between each shot), Endless Mode.

Edit: Wretched, i didn’t notice the info at first
But the info on setting will be helpful
Cheers

this vid is cool in hd and widescreen
turn off all the things you don’t need while time lapsing, and most decent rechargeable batts will last very long.
Very cool..
I didnt know a camera could last 4 hrs on batterys?
Ha, only morons comment on YouTube videos! Errr, wait…
Seriously though, Josh, very cool. And +1 on the music.
