I really like my Purplish black.
I like mine! It takes fantastic pictures even with the sparkle off. The cool thing I like is that is it automatically turns the sparkle on or off when it is needed or not! I would hope you get it and excellent luck!
but honestly people is this a excellent camera or not? the reviews make it like the pictures suck and so does the screen and all this stuff and i havent bought mine yet but im truely looking into it majorily so what do you guys honestly reckon? does it take excellent like mirror pictures? like where u can have the sparkle off and stuff? and does it have a annoying overly bright sparkle like my contemporary poloraid does? answer please thanks <3
don’t bother getting it. I returned mine and bought a sony t500. much more pleased plus i can shoot 720pHD. check a couple of my vids for quality. Nikon disappointed me terribly
The bring up to date doesn’t increase the screen resolution does it? Doesn’t say it does on the Nikon site.

im bought 1 too its burgundy but doesnt arrive yet for $160
the screen resolution/show needs updating via firmware but the pic quality is fantastic. i have a black one
and the color is crimson red
well as the guy said the screen resolution isnt so goood but wen u in fact take the picture the quality is fantastic

i juz ordered canon sd880 is
if you wanna go for nikon, go for d80 or d90. i know its not the same things but believe me s60′s not worth for the price and picture quality kidda terrible

i have a flip…. it takes up to an hour of video…..

this is an dreadful review. the S60 is much better than the video describes
jay47718 i am having the same probelm as you. I have a flip video camera and it is messed up and could only play 10 mins of video. Im not sure yet, but i reckon I am going to get the coolpix s60
i dnt kno much bout cameras but my dad has dslr and he used to do video editing in new york for tv station and record and from wat i know both vid cam and digi cam hav mega pixels so i suggest goin wit the s60 considerin its round same price and the quality should b beter and besites the vids are nt gna b in hd on youtube nyway so itll b even blurrier wen compressed so go wit s60
