    Yes, if you set the digital zoom on but since it is digital, what u r doing is simply cropping the image with the known loss of pix quality (the lenses are still)

    got for myself a uSD 8GB and works fine(about 4700 pixs at 3Mp)

    yup its a really cool cam. I m an amateur photographer but my pictures are breath taking. I got it for 225$ n i reckon its really worth it.

    Im really into this cam and i just wanted to know .. did it worth it? I am a close range and some long range photographer and i really reckon this cam just might be It!

    you need to go into the camera menu and manually turn on the mic and you need to have the camera too the zoom desired because zoom is not available all through recording.

    turn off the zoom and sound activate. Zoom and sound do not work together

    i’ve reccently bought this camera, but when i take video’s with it it records no sounds with the vids :(
    is mine defective or are they all like that?

    Well I bought this camera because of the zoom and all the reviews I saw from people who had already bought it.

    The 20x zoom is really awe-inspiring if u r into nature photography because it allows you to click some incredible shot from far away without disturbing the subjects.

    Also its fantastic for extremely close range photography without disturbing the untreated light by being to close …..

    I am getting mine on the Monday …. Cant stop dreaming about it!!!!!!
