    i own what i would buy but if i could i would have it fixed up by chip foose (if nobody knows this hes a well-known car builder that makes incredible vehicles out of crap) but ya i own a 1976 dodge w200 4wheel drive and yes its a stick 4 speed to be rigorous but it needs a clutch and i dont even have the money to fix that

    Congrats on the new car! I am seriously thinking of getting a Fiesta as well. I drive a 13+ year ancient Saturn SL currently.

    tbh under 90,000 miles for a 18 year ancient car is really excellent

    okay i was thinking about this watching a Bukowski documentary(born into this;awe-inspiring!)….isn’t it illegal ( or at least hazy) to drive while doing anything else? i mean here in ny they have allot of restrictions and most are less cumbersome than this. one day some megastar is gonna crash discussion to a camera man and then there’s gonna be a law named after him.
    hmmm sweet obtuse coment huh?

    @Jon lol yeaa my dad told me when ever I get a car it would be best NOT to get a stickshift

  21. IxPretendxtoxBexYou on December 31, 2010 at 12:08 am

    @crammage I have absolutely no thought how many miles it had, it wasn’t my car. When my brother got ownership of it though he just let it go to crap. The body was rusting off, the brakes were faulty, etcetcetc I’ve seen the same model driving around and they look fantastic, very nearly groundbreaking new, but my brother’s just wasn’t treated the same way.

  22. crammage on December 31, 2010 at 1:08 am

    @IxPretendxtoxBexYou but how many miles??
    in my opinion 94 isnt very ancient
    especially for japanese

    @crammage when the owner uses, abuses, and neglects so now the interior is disgusting and smells of beer and cigarettes, the brakes where hanging on for dear life for years until they finally chose it was their time. Truthfully, it should have died years ago, but the damn thing just kept in succession. We were at the point where there was no point in repairing it.

  25. crammage on December 31, 2010 at 2:43 am

    @crammage
    also why aren’t you grateful of how long the car has lasted?
    does it break down constantly
    i have read reviews on older escorts are relatively reliable

    did you reckon about a mazda3 or mazda 6?
    what about a subaru?
