Canon SX210 Teaser Review

My first impressions. Pros: 1. Optical Zoom whilst recording video 2. Stereo Audio whilst recording video 3. 14x Optical Zoom impressive 4. In General, a fantastic improvement over the sx200, including the position of sparkle and the ability to pop up & down whenever the user wishes. Cons: (hardly any) Looking at the leading competition from panasonic and sony. Missing two things that they have: 1. GPS (geotagging) 2. Something similar to sweep panorama

    i reckon this camaar is fantastic but not
    worth over 250
    i bought it for 199 also around thangsgiving

    just yesterday i bought this camera.i like it to much but very expensive price 479$..when i saw some friends comment price of 199$you are lucky guys.

    After I research about canon SD1400 3500 & 4000,I finished up getting this camera. Don’t know u live in UK but in USA I bought it day after thanksgiving from( amazon.com) for half price $199 when came out on spring was close to $400. Real pleased with this camera with fantastic pic & like ur review in here

    @kuruptedmunda cool saw ur pic but is was far, Between SD1400 3500 AND 4000 i went with this camera i got it from amazon on blk friday for $195, & Transcend 16GB Class 10 SDHC Card for 25.00 & extra canon battery for $22 & carring case for $12 ..MAN U CANT BEAT THAT PRICE anyway i am real pleased with the cam and of couse the price..takes real excellent pics and video WITH LONGG zoom ..man for under $200 i got gold ..this camerra when came out on late spring was close to $400 so go figure!!

    fantastic review, is there any way you can configure the sparkle, so it pops up only when you need it ? and not everytime you turn th e cam on ?

    @CubbyADORABLE it will refocus automatically if you have the camera on ‘auto’ mode and be clearly in focus

    PLEASE ANSWER.
    Does it focus automatically?
    Like.. If you take a fiddle with in front of the camera, will the fiddle with shows sharp or will it be blury? Plz help.

    @slipknot1566 i suggest you look at the new sx130 over the sx120. extra optical zoom and hd video recording too. but, on the sx210, their is currently a £30 cashback promotion on which would make it cheaper than the sx130. i suggest you go for the sx210 due to lithium rechargeable battery, more zoom and compactness. also has the aliminium body which the sx120/sx130 do not have.

    i dont reckon canon ixus 1000 beat sx210 , sx210 has more zoom and mp, and not much difference from 720p and 1080 p D:
